How does Triton by InMode work?

Triton laser hair removal safely removes unwanted hair. Our machine is optimized for lighter skin tones, as well as coarse and stubborn hair on darker skin tone. 

Triton's multi-wavelength functionality allows simultaneous emission of three powerful lasers in a single pulse. Lasers emit specific wavelengths of light that can pass through the skin and specifically target the pigment within the hair. When enough energy is absorbed by the pigment, the follicle is permanently destroyed. Please note that hair follicles have three phases of a growth cycle. Only hair follicles currently in the active growth phase (anagen phase) can be permanently destroyed. This is one of the reasons why we recommend multiple laser hair removal treatment sessions in the same area to obtain successful results.

• Clients are encouraged to shave all unwanted hair 1-2 days prior to treatment, but should discontinue tweezing, waxing, or removing the hair 2-4 weeks prior to starting your treatment plan.
• Tanned skin is contraindicated. Appointments should be postponed or rescheduled if skin has darkened from sun exposure within 2 weeks of your treatment day.
• Skin may become bumpy, swollen, and/or sensitive immediately post treatment, but typically returns to normal within 1-2 days.
• We highly recommend scheduling a consultation prior to starting your treatment plan, though occasionally consults and treatments can be done same day.

Post Care:

• Clients are able to shave prior to and during their treatment series. Clients can shave up to 24 hours prior to their appointment.
• Avoid direct sunlight for 7-14 days post treatment
• A cold compress or ice pack can be used to soothe especially warm areas of treatment
• Contact office if skin is broken or blistered following treatment, in rare cases hives have been reported following treatment. You may take Benadryl.
