Scheduling
Consent forms, appointment confirmations, and text message reminders will be sent from our main line unless a different method of communication is specifically requested. Feel free to call (517) 267-2497 or text SMS (517) 705-3020 during business hours! Our team is eager to help answer any questions regarding your appointment. We will not include any sensitive information on messages as client discretion is extremely important to us.


Arrival
Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early for your appointment (including those with topical application) so we have time for any paperwork, VISIA photos, or treatment discussion. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session, as we must conclude on time to serve our next client. Arrivals more than 10 minutes past the appointment time, without prior notice by call or text, will be considered a no-show and will require rescheduling.

Ultimately, it is the client’s responsibility to arrive at their scheduled appointment on time and to communicate any conflicts or changes. Please refer to our cancellations and no-show policy for details.


Cancellations and No-Show Policy
Please call or text at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment for any changes or cancellations. While we understand that schedules can shift unexpectedly, short-notice cancellations or no-shows prevent us from offering that appointment to another client on our waitlist.

Arriving more than 10 minutes late or failing to arrive for a scheduled appointment without prior notice, will be considered a no-show. After a second no-show, a fee will be applied to your account and must be paid before booking future appointments. Failure to pay may result in the cancellation of upcoming appointments or refusal of future services.


Safety and Right to Refuse of Service
MSU Aesthetic & Laser Treatment Center is dedicated to fostering respectful, lasting relationships with our clients and community. We reserve the right to decline service to any individual at our discretion. For the safety and comfort of all, on-site security is available to address non-compliance, disruptive behavior, or unsafe conduct. Security personnel are located on the first floor, near the elevators.


Chaperone
To further provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere, an additional person (friend, family member, or additional staff member older than 12 years old) is welcome to accompany you at any point during your consultation and/or treatment. The selection to choose your chaperone preference will be presented at the time of your first service and may be updated at any time.

During sensitive examinations or treatments, a chaperone may be required unless waived by the client.


Children under 12 | Can I bring my child with me to the appointment?
Please note that our facility is not suitable for young children. We understand how challenging it can be to arrange childcare, but the nature of the treatments we provide requires meticulous attention to detail. A distraction-free environment ensures the best outcomes and maintains a safe space for everyone.

For these reasons, we kindly request that childcare arrangements be made prior to your visit. Rescheduled appointments due to young children present at the time of service will be considered a no-show.

If childcare arrangements cannot be made, we are happy to assist you in rescheduling your appointment to a more convenient time. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated for helping us maintain a safe and focused environment.


Photography and Media
Due to the nature of treatment, it is important to obtain before, during, and after photos to clearly document the results that are being achieved throughout the treatment process. We require electronic or signed consent prior to treatment day to allow or decline MSU Aesthetic & Laser Treatment Center to use your imaging for training or other purposes. Photographs and accompanying materials will not contain your name or any personal identifying information, however it may be possible that identity may be recognized by the photos themselves.


Product Return Policy
MSU Aesthetics & Laser Treatment Center will allow for a full refund to the original form of payment within 30 days of product purchase only. These products may also be exchanged for new product(s), or a credit may be issued.


Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are electronic and applied directly to the account at the time of purchase. In the case of a lost or stolen gift card, the amount will still be redeemable, and the card will not need to be presented at checkout. Gift cards do not have an expiration date! Enjoy your gift at a time that is most convenient for you, on the product(s) or service(s) of your choice. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash.
